Why we became Fourth Quarter
It started as Mercury
Emma Burns built Mercury on one idea:Â People making big property decisions deserve more than paperwork pushed through a system. They deserve someone who explains things properly, cares how it turns out and stays involved. Mercury grew one client, one broker and one agent at a time. Over time the work became more considered, and so did we.
In June 2026, Emma took full ownership of Mercury. It was a chance to ask a bigger question. If we were building this practice today, what would it look like?

Fourth Quarter is the answer. It isn't Mercury with a new logo. It's the practice Mercury became, set out with more clarity. Same Emma, same team. The standards haven't changed. Now they're written down.

On 8 October 2026, we marked the change with a selected group of referral partners and close friends who have helped build Mercury.
